Images from yesterday’s ride. Lake Monona/Monona Terrace (and one of my favorite trees); a willow tree on the Capital City Trail—somewhere near Fitchburg; and my main motivation for riding all the fuck over the place: Mickey’s!!
Most of my ride this morning. The first 5 mile leg was rudely ended by a flat tire, but thanks to the awesome service at Machinery Row, we were on our way in no time. Finished the morning with a burger and some beers at Mickey’s. All in all a beautiful day in a beautiful city.
The only reason I didn’t turn around on that last mile into the wind on an incline…
The drive home. I especially loved it today because it came an hour early, and I FINALLY saw the sunshine.
We print and cut all our labels at Lakeside Press Printing Co-op in Madison… The cutting process is done on an early 20th century Challenge Machinery Company machine, they started making cutters in 1897 and are still in business today. Is there a video you would like us to make next?
I made a beer run to Riley’s this evening. 12.4 miles, awesome weather, the smell of campfires in the Willy Street neighborhood, no more crazy people ice fishing on Monona Bay … Spring has sprung.
