Ghost Town Council at the Terrace. Great band, beautiful night.
(shameful self-promotion)pacifus:
Come check out my band Ghost Town Council live at the Terrace this Saturday. Set starts at 8. I’ll be the good looking one with the electric guitar (as opposed to the good looking fella on the drums, bass, acoustic guitar, or the lady with the fiddle). You can preview our shtuff at ghosttowncouncil.com.

My favorite Madison band.

My very favorite Madison band (and I’m not just saying that because Pacifus, my loving husband, is the guitar player) is opening for Jim James and the Damn Shames at the High Noon Saloon on Tuesday evening. I’ll be the one with the rambunctious twins. Come to the show and come say hi!
Vacation was awesome! If only it wasn’t capped by a five-hour drive. On the other hand, I was only back home for two hours before I had a chance to see my very favorite Madison band: Ghost Town Council. The weather was perfect for a patio show at the High Noon Saloon. Good beer, good tunes, good company; all in all, it was a lovely “welcome home.”
The Union Terrace, a warm (non-rainy) spring night, country music, and beer. What could be better?
I’m looking forward to seeing Ghost Town Council’s new lineup. And I’m totally taking their guitar player home with me tonight.
